Fusidic Acid used as a topical antibiotic world wide.   Often used topically in creams or ointments and eyedrops but may also be given systemically as tablets or injections.Sometimes used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis where the skin has become broken and infected.  Broken skin is vulnerable to infection, which can make skin conditions much worse.
